Spring has arrived and although the weather is still wintry here in Portland, OR, my body is starting to awaken with the expectation of new beginnings. With Spring we get to start again - to plant the seeds of wisdom we gleaned from last year and watch them grow into something more expansive.
The Tarot suit associated with Spring is the Swords. The Swords have to do with our mental capacity. They can give us clarity about our direction, insight as to how we can best proceed, and the ability to make confident and well-thought-out decisions.
I will be conducting a workshop on the Swords suit of the Tarot on April 27, from 12:30 -4:30 at the beautiful Crooked Kitty Ranch in Battleground, WA. (Contact me for directions and further details.) What I strive for in my workshops is to help each participant access her/his own wisdom and inner knowing to understand the Tarot cards. Remember that the Tarot came about as a way for us to understand life experiences. They were developed by people just like us who wanted to make sense of their everyday lives. WE all have that wisdom within us, and the more we can relate the meaning of the Tarot cards to our own experiences, the better we can know and understand the cards.
This workshop will involve hands-on activities, meditation, time for going over the meaning of each card, and questions from you about the cards, and practice time when you can work with the cards yourself to start to get comfortable with doing your own readings. And since we will be working with the Swords, you will have the opportunity to gain clarity about your own path this year and the decisions that can help to advance it.
The cost of the workshop is sliding scale $45-$65, and includes a booklet written by me describing each Swords card. Contact me for further details or if you have any questions. I hope you can join me!
Many blessings,
Amanda - Tarot Card Lady
